Brand new British bands worth our attentions...

Gang: who's flicking your switches, new band wise?

If I can throw some out there: Calories (check the new bands forum section), Gentle Friendly, Narrows, Vessels, Lovvers (still new?), Rolo Tomassi (likewise)... plus the early stages of solid relationships with Super Tennis, Cats in Paris, Favours For Sailors and Let's Wrestle.

Check them, like, yesss?

There's this one fella Gideon Conn from Manchester way, I think. He's in with the Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly crew and his live show is amazing. Heartfelt, witty, naive in places, genuinely touching and funny songs about electric pylons, fish sellers, love and insomnia. Well worth checking out.
