Job description : PR internship

Length of placement: 3 weeks trial period – then up to 6months internship.
Location: BASH Studios, 65-71 Scrutton Street, London, EC2A 4PJ
BASH is an award winning creative events and marketing agency focussed on ethical issues.
Duties

Online:
Website – updated and visiting statistics recorded regularly and analyzed

Photo, video sites updated and expanded

Social Networking:
Facebook groups and profile updated regularly with news and information

Myspace profile updated regularly messages responded to.

Offline:
Identify opportunities to promote the work BASH is doing.

Collate regular newsletter

Press:
Collate white paper library, create pdf’s

Manage media contact list

Write press releases

Skills required: Good phone manner, enthusiasm, understanding of PR, Design and computer skills, writing skills, background or love of, the cultural arts, music and events and team player.
Experience gained: The intern will gain an understanding of PR and develop skills in this area. They will learn how a growing company’s office is run and deal with PR enquiries and various assignments and projects.
Internship will appeal to either a PR & Marketing student or similar as long as they are willing to learn. They must be enthusiastic, reliable and confident and have good communication/English skills. Also, knowledge of the cultural arts scene and its people is necessary.
Expenses: travel expenses only
Supervision: The placement will be supervised by Holly - PR Coordinator

Job description : Digital media specialist

Length of placement: 3 weeks trial period – then up to 6months internship.

BASH is an award winning creative events and marketing agency focussed on ethical issues.
To collate all the visual assets of BASH and to formulate them in line with the PR strategy, this will include creating bespoke videos for viral campaigns, our social networks etc
Experience gained: The applicant will gain experience of working on a new project where they will be able to be creative and gain more experience in digital editing and marketing. The intern position would suit students studying PR or Marketing, Editing and Filming team positions would suit students with experience in editing and filming and who would like to gain more practical experience.

Skills required:
· Excellent skills with the Adobe Suite of tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design)

video editing, final cut pro, avid etc
Photo manipulation
Digital media
Expenses:Travel expenses will be paid
