Solfest

The Solway Festival is a Cumbrian Arts Festival which takes place every year in Silloth and attracts over 10,000 music lovers every year. As well as housing three main stages, the Lake District Fest also come complete with a dance tent and the expected hippy-dippy arts n crafts fare. One problem which won't affect this mini-glasto is the addition of sand-based soil, which means the chances of you waking up flowing down a river of cheap lager and yellow mud are kept to an absolute minimum, too. It's deal for anyone who finds the rain-sodden climate and sheer enormity of some fests a little too overwhelming.
