Featuring Rustie, Joy Orbison and more

Red Bull Music Academy took over London's Lock Tavern recently to showcase two of the finest young producers in the UK.

Hailing from Glasgow, Rustie is a member of the LuckyMe Collective and has been instrumental in turning the city into a hotbed of wonky hip hop. Together with close friend Hudson Mohawke, the producer has perfected a style which takes the groundbreaking output of Stones Throw one step further.

Signed to Warp Records, Rustie is due to release his debut album later this year. The Glasgow maverick was joined at the Lock Tavern event by much hyped dubstep talent Joy Orbison.

Releasing 'Hmph Mngo' last year Joy Orbison turned the dubstep scene on its head, adding a new level of euphoria to proceedings. His DJ sets are a thing to behold, containing exclusive cuts and unreleased mixes.

With new EP 'The Shrew Would Have Cushioned The Blow' Joy Orbison is on top form. ClashMusic took its camera along for the ride...
