Drenge are a band to be savoured in the live environment, the electricity of both the system and the crowd seeming to flip unforeseen switches in their music.
The Sheffield duo breezed into London last night (February 11th) as part of the NME Awards Tour show at the fabled Brixton Academy venue.
A package event, the band shared a bill alongside Bloc Party, Ratboy and Bugzy Malone. Drenge, though, stood out.
The band rose to the occasion, delivering a visceral, aggressive performance, one that emphasise how far they've come – and how far they could go.
