Culture Clash: The Chainsmokers

Dance duo take five with Clash...

The Chainsmokers aren't about to slow down now.

The dance duo played more than 300 shows in 2015, spending time in virtually every continent with a club scene.

Smashing it as they went along, the pair somehow managed to find time to go back into the studio.

The past six months has witnessed banger after banger, with The Chainsmokers smashing into the Top 20 with 'Roses'.

New cut 'Don't Let Me Down' is currently racing up the charts, so Clash sat down with the dance duo to talk extra-curricular activities…

Book
Malcom Gladwell’s Outliers or anything by Tom Clancy. Malcom’s book is just the truth about becoming a master of your craft. There’s a lot of important things he points out that could be very helpful to anyone trying achieve something. Tom Clancy is just a guilty pleasure, RIP, but luckily his books go on!

Film
We are huge huge huge Guy Ritchie fans. The guy makes such cool movies from Snatch to Sherlock Holmes. We are a sucker for anything British and involving gangsters.

Album
This changes regularly… Our favourite album this year is probably Kanye’s album and we really enjoyed the Flume record.

TV Show
We are Throner’s and happy to admit it… That show is everything, but a close second is Silicon Valley!

Gadget
The Mophie case, we are hardly ever anywhere for very long, so this charger saves our lives regularly.

Video Game
Honestly neither of us are gamers. It’s probably out of fear that if we get into it all, our productivity will go to total shit!
