Clash DJ Mix – Submotion Orchestra

Crafted for the tenth anniversary of Farmfest...

Ten years is a long time.

Ten years ago the inaugural instalment of Farmfest kicked off, an ad hoc party which started for friends and became an award-winning festival.

Fast forward a decade and organisers are busy building their biggest event yet. Running between July 31st and August 1st, this year's Farmfest expands on their ethos while retaining the familiar feel which makes it so loved.

Submotion Orchestra are huge fans of the festival, and agreed to craft a special mix in its honour. Focussing on their own decade long journey, it opens with the soul of Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings before leaping into the butter-smooth hip hop production of J Dilla.

Featuring more than a few vital touchstones along the way, you can tune in below.
