As special celebration of Beat-Herder...
Paul Hartnoll

Paul Hartnoll is a living legend in British dance music.

Together with his brother Phil, the producer steered Orbital to enormous acclaim taking electronic music into new arenas. Festival favourites, Orbital's stand at Glastonbury back in 1994 not only shifted the way Worthy Farm perceived itself but arguably shattered the glass ceiling for electronic artists in the process.

All good things come to an end and, with Orbital calling it quits, Paul Hartnoll is currently concentrating on his 8:58 solo project. Recent single 'The Clock' boasted a guest appearance from Cillian Murphy, with the producer continuing to attract stellar collaborators.

Set to appear at Lancashire's Beat-Herder festival this summer, the producer has agreed to construct a special mix in its honour. Expect party favourites, capturing the easy going vibe of a festival which comes closer than most to capturing the freewheeling spirit of the rave era.
