London isn't short of live music.
If you're an inquisitive soul, then the capital offers all manner of styles and genres every night of the week. But even amidst all this, Best In Class remains idiosyncratic. Located at old fashioned boozer the Old Queen's Head, the five night event manages to be both deeply eclectic and chisel away its own identity.
Opening last night (February 25th) with Eliza and the Bear and Wild Combination, the intimate venue is set to host a number of carefully curated shows. Tonight (February 26th) fans are set to welcome one-of-a-kind all-female choir Gaggle while Cornelia are due to play a support slot.
Later in the week the Old Queen's Head is planning to welcome Childhood onstage, before Animal Kingdom drop past for what will no doubt be a special set. Closing on Friday (March 1st) Best In Class will end with a set from ethereal synth-pop wonder NZCA / Lines with Glitches in support.
To celebrate its inauguration, ClashMusic are able to present a special Best In Class mixtape. Featuring all the acts on the line up, there are a few special surprises in there to tempt you along to the Old Queen's Head...
