Backstage at Open'er...

Orbital loom large in British dance culture.

The Hartnoll brothers fuelled the rave explosion, playing some of those epochal early events. Adding a live, improvisational sense to their show, Orbital became one of the truly legendary acts to be spawned by the Acid House era.

Travelling out to Poland for Open'er, Orbital brought a renewed sense of energy with them. Still buoyed by the creative success of this year's 'Wonky' album the Hartnoll brothers responded with a typically wonderful set.

ClashMusic journalist Mark Millar caught up with Orbital backstage, asking them about their festival memories, the birth of Acid House and more.
