Gang Gang Dance are making the pond leap from New York, following paths laid by Animal Collective and Battles, to grace British ears with their crunk conjurations. Our track of the day is straight from their forthcoming album 'St Dymphna', released on October 20th. Our free stream 'Princes', has enough grime to suggest a cockney birth but the skipping dance beat and transcendent vocals maintain its 'Big Apple' flavour.

We have given our Track Of The Day machine the weekend to let off some tuneful steam, but it will return on Monday... Harder, better, faster, stronger.
