Graham Massey Solo Venture

The latest 'Track Of The Day' comes from a true British dance legend, with Graham Massey forming his recent analogue project Sisters Of Transistors.

Emerging from Manchester at the bright dawn of Acid House, 808 State went on to become one of British dance music's defining acts. Still crafting superb music, the group recently went on hiatus to allow head honcho Graham Massey time to work on a strange yet enticing analogue expedition.

Sisters Of Transistors came about through a research project led by Graham Massey at his his own top secret dance facility, The South Manchester Museum Of Keyboard Technology.

Using only analogue keyboards the producer gathered together a group of female musicians - the Sisters Of Transistors. Attempting to replicate the work of Lillian Meyers the group confiscated all iPods at the door to get that rich vintage feel.

Reference points include The Shangri Las, The B52s, Goblin, Magma, Ennio Morricone and more - not that the group would know, they've not been able to listen to their iPods!

ClashMusic have grabbed an exclusive Lynchmob remix of album standout 'Solar Disco'. Listen to is now...
