Moshi Festivities Continue

Ah, Christmas!

Chestnuts roasting over an open fire, young children forging snowmen out of fields of white. Over at Moshi Moshi towers, the festive period can mean only one thing - another instalment of free music.

It seems that the label's roster loves nothing more than getting in the Christmas spirit, as ClashMusic teams up with Moshi Moshi for a series of special 'Track Of The Day' download treats.

One of the year's brightest newcomers, Summer Camp have a yearning nostalgia for lost youth. Musically and visually the duo seem to attest for a lingering love of the 80s and (early) 90s, throwing some oblique references into their material.

A series of singles have turned the band into names to drop in hipster conversations, attaching a pop template to the ethereal explorations of chillwave. As a special Christmas bonus, Summer Camp have recorded a new festive track.

'Christmas Wrapping' is an instantly recognisable hit. Initially released by The Waitresses, underground New York label Z Records took control of the song which added some streetwise suss to the Christmas single.

Summer Camp have recorded their own version, which glistens with a throwaway charm while yearning towards lost Christmases of decades past. Still expecting a Thunderbirds set under your tree?
