Leather clad psych rockers Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are back - and producing some of their finest music to date.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club happened upon a formula for lysergic drenched pysch rock almost a decade ago, and spent the best part of the Noughties touring the globe.

Albums such as 'Baby 81' enshrined the Californian trio as cult heroes, before personal conflict set in. Losing drummer Nick Jago the band then released the bizarre, noise laden epic 'The Effects Of 333'.

Receiving shattering reviews, the album puzzled fans and remains an intriguing gesture. Set to return later this year with 'Beat The Devil's Tattoo' a rejuvenated Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are ready to roar again.

Early signs are that it features the band back at their ear drum blowing best, with ClashMusic grabbing a mind bending preview. 'Shadow's Keeper' is taken from the new album, and ranks amongst the band's very best material.
