Three Trapped Tigers

Track Of The Day returns with a blast of mind-melting math rock in the form of London's Three Trapped Tigers.

Genres are made to be broken. But the term 'math rock' has now come to be a term of abuse lobbed at instrumental groups with novelty haircuts.

Rolling math rock back to a time when it meant bewildering, ground-breaking guitar music are London band Three Trapped Tigers. Taking the math aspect very seriously, the group name their songs after numbers.

Recent release 'EP2' was a collection of head swimming nonsense that left your ears turned upside down. Packed with more ideas than Razorlight's entire back catalogue it marked Three Trapped Tigers out as a group with the potential for greatness.

Currently touring the length and breath of the UK, Three Trapped Tigers are set to play alongside 65DaysOfStatic down in Brighton tonight (September 10th). If you can't make it along to the Digital venue then fear not, for ClashMusic have supplied you with a new stream of their track '6'.
