The Machine Gunners
Hypeless Indie: No Synth Guarantee

This group was born when lead singer Matthew Grist was looking for a piano player through MySpace and happened upon Myles Clarke, who was sound engineering for Pete Townshend and The Who at the time. Clarke immediately saw a potential between the pair and they soon got a proper band together. They play dark and morose sounds based on “Britishness, the good old days, nightmare relationships, self-doubt, life and death.” This is stripped down, hypeless, proper music. No synths.
