Iceland's Sigur Ros have announced a new single, 'Inní mér syngur vitleysingur', out September 8th, taken from their 'Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust' album.
The band have just returned from playing Australia and are to undertake the next part of their European tour as an expanded 13 piece live outfit. UK dates are scheduled in for November and take in Wolverhampton, Blackpool, Bristol, Bournemouth and two dates in London. They will also appear at the Electric Garden and Hydro Connect festivals.
The video which accompanies 'Inní mér syngur vitleysingur' was filmed at the Náttúra concert in Reykjavík in June, the event which saw Sigur Ros co-headline with Bjork to raise awareness of the destruction of Iceland's landscape. Bjork even joined the boys to add to the mass drumming on 'Gobbledigook'.
