Liverpool Music Week 2008

Win tickets for Kaiser Chiefs & Chemical Bros

Kicking off today, Liverpool Music Week launches 11 days of great music with over 200 bands playing in and around that most musical of cities in one of the highlights of the Winter music schedule.

As well as appearances from local acts The Wombats, Hot Club de Paris & Eugene McGuinness, there are also gigs by The Kaiser Chiefs, New Young Pony Club, Hard Fi and The Chemical Brothers. It’s not all about the big names though, there are a multitude of free gigs across town highlighting the city’s vibrant live music culture including a showcase of it’s blossoming under 18 band scene.

Alongside the live music there will also be a series of panels and seminars featuring some of the UK’s key music business personnel, giving their insight and advice for new artists and where the industry might be headed.
