If you’ve been breezing by ClashMusic.com for a wee while now, you’ll know there’s a lot of love around these parts for Micachu and the Shapes.
The London trio have long been admired by ear-t’-underground sorts across the Clash site and magazine, and now all of our efforts in preaching the group’s myriad charms to our readership reaches a zenith, with the release of debut album ‘Jewellery’.
The 13-track debut album is released via Rough Trade on Monday (March 9). The band headlined our last Clash Saturday Social event at RoTa, and packed the Notting Hill Arts Club out from front to back. It was probably our most successful Saturday Social yet. Cheers, band!

Ahead of the album’s release, ClashMusic.com is mega pleased to present a three-track preview of ‘Jewellery’, featuring the tracks 'Lips', 'Curly Teeth' and former single 'Golden Phone'.
‘Jewellery’ is released via Rough Trade on Monday; look for a review and a track-by-track guide from the band’s Mica Levi next week.
