Ahead of The 1234 Festival...

When Crocodiles first crossed our path, the Clash team could barely discern any music there at all.

Sounding like a bumblebee trapped in a fuzz pedal, those early recordings were bracing but had an innate charm. Gradually evolving, Crocodiles returned as a spruced-up four piece earlier this year, with new album 'Endless Flowers' showcasing a brave, direct new sound.

Launched with a boat trip on the Thames, the band are currently planning their next trip to London. Invited to perform at The 1234 Festival, Crocodiles are set to respond with a typically unhinged live set.

Ahead of their slot, though, Crocodiles have agreed to piece together a new mixtape. Showcasing their tastes, influences and possible new directions this moves from wailing garage rock to Glam, The Boss to the Banshees.
