A preview of this week's shows...

D:U:M has organised yet another stellar line-up of shows for your listening pleasure this week. These guest DJs come in all shapes and sizes. From the menacing tones of post-punk revivalists O Children, to the experimental orchestral arrangements of Chrome Hoof, there’s something for everyone. So tune in, or miss out!
Riding the airwaves this week…….
Peres – Monday 12-2pm
Hailing from the land of vodka and pickles, Peres’ namesake may be misleading. But he is in fact one of Poland’s best-known DJs. So tune in today to shake off those Monday blues.
A Mountain of One – Thursday 10-12pm
A Mountain of One are a complex bunch. Dipping their toes into the choppy waters of post-rock, synthpop and even disco, their sound is hard to pinpoint. But this is clever dance music for the discerning indie kid.
Simian Mobile Disco – Wednesday 6-7pm
The Simian boys have fallen off the radar for a while. So if you’ve missed their dulcet tones and bleepy dance-floor hits, then make sure you don’t miss their D:U:M show this Wednesday.
Chrome Hoof – Friday 1-3pm
Their current number stands at ten, but the size of this multi-instrumentalist orchestral collective just keeps on growing. And with a rolling recruitment drive, this could carry on to rival even the likes of the Polyphonic Spree.
Joy Orbison – Saturday 10-12pm
Joy Orbison is not an unimaginative cover act but is in fact a UK producer with a penchant for nineties dance music. So expect soulful, Garage-esque vocals undercut with big booming techno beats. Perfectly timed to get you all revved up for Saturday night.
O Children – Sunday 7-9am
O Children are teetering on the edge of fame. So come over to the dark side and tune in on Sunday morning. Playing stripped-down, frighteningly ominous post-punk, I think I can hear the church bell toll…..
