Featuring We Are Scientists, Lupe Fiasco and more

The humble Converse is celebrating its centenary in style this year with a ten night stint at London’s Somerset House, featuring an all star line up of entertainment.

The trainer of choice for more than one generation of rock ‘n’ rollers, the Converse is a design classic that has defied the changing tides of fashion to carve out its own unique identity. The ten night stint kicked off with The Fratellis, and those fun loving Scots were followed by such acts as Justice, Unkle, The Blue Nile, Adele, The Zutons and many more.

Amongst the highlights of the event were legendary dance group UNKLE being joined by a host of collaborators, reformed Scots The Blue Nile playing a rare set and the only UK festival performance this year by pop sensation Adele.

A huge success, the Converse Century was well worth waiting 100 years for. Here’s to the next century!
