Clash Live - November 18 details

Frightened Rabbit, Baddies and Dan Black play London

Clash Live rolls into Hoxton Square for another super night of live music, free-flowing good times and quality tunes.

On November 18, we’re setting up shop at the Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen for a three-band bill that’s earned itself a double-thumbs-up seal of Clash approval before it’s even begun. Sweet, is one way of describing a bill this tasty…

FRIGHTENED RABBIT (pictured)
Would it be wrong of us to call FR Selkirk’s favourite sons? Probably not – although we’re not too aware of the town’s famous faces past. The four-piece’s second studio LP, ‘The Midnight Organ Fight’, was a huge critical hit earlier this year, and the album’s success has seen the act become A Big Deal on both sides of the Atlantic. With support dates scheduled with Biffy Clyro and Death Cab For Cutie, this headline slot represents a time that London fans can see the band without enduring soul-sucking arena atmospheres. Get in, get intimate… or heads may roll.

Says FR's Scott Hutchison of his 2008: "I guess a lot of my personal highlights are music based. We spent most of the year touring and I guess the shows are just growing in number and attendance. I think getting back from our US tour, which was fun as well and a lot of people turned up to see us play, which made us aware that people were getting into our records."
