The news that Skepta’s beloved Uniqlo – the Japanese mecca of fine knits, lightweight puffa jackets and HeatTech tees – is about to drop a collaboration with KAWS, has long been music to many’s ears.
A perfect marriage of the New York based artist’s work and the former’s on point way with cotton; perhaps the best result a hypebeast could hope for.
But today things get a little better, as the brand announces the first of many an event in its newly refurbished flagship store.
Partnering up with Dalston radio station NTS, on 25th April (that’s a week today kids), for two hours 311 Oxford Street – a.k.a. Uniqlo Wearhouse – will play host to fans wanting to be the first in on the action, with a preview shopping extravaganza complete with as yet undisclosed ‘refreshments’.
Offering IRL guestlist vibes, you can find yourself on the list by heading over here and signing up, while out of towners need make do with tuning into NTS (broadcasting live) and copping a shirt on international release day, the 26th.
