Tribal Gathering: Farah AW15

Inspired by men's search for community.

Tribes don’t exist in 2015, so we’re told. Everyone listens to every kind of music, wears every style of clothing; the last true subculture was emo, but that hardly exists beyond the playground today.

In spite – or perhaps inline with this – Farah’s AW15 collection takes the moniker ‘Tribal Gathering’, the cloth offering inspired by the male search for ‘belonging, community and modern ritual’.

Silhouettes marry smart with sports, the emphasis this season on casual, while the palette remains for the most part dark; charcoal, black and navy are key, highlighted by grey and off white.

Elsewhere this season the brand’s emphasis on subcultures receives a nod with a new Farah Presents line-up. Partnering with the Roundhouse Resident Artist programme, the pair is putting on Wondr Kid and LGC ahead of Django Django’s 9th December show.
