Sandqvist x Hentsch Man

The labels pair up for a capsule line.

Taking a break from the London Collections: Men showcase at which her label has presented for three seasons, Alexia Hentsch instead has taken the cause global.

Not only has Hentsch Man hooked up with Design Miami (highlights from the US edition of the design forum swamp the label’s Instagram), but Hentsch and business partner Max von Hurter have collaborated with Swedish accessories label Sandqvist.

“Working and designing together with Alexia was a wonderful experience and a collaboration that we immediately felt was right for the two brands,” asserts the latter’s founder, Anton Sandqvist.

“A shared understanding of what we wanted to produce and a common love for clean and functional design helped us produce a classic and wearable collection,” he concludes of the three part offering.

Not dropping till September (sob), the capsule collection reinterprets three classic shapes from Sandqvist’s catalogue – a large holdall, a classic tote and a laptop case – in subtle navy cotton, with a nod to the menswear label vocal via the red bandana print lining that accompanies each.
