Roundel London + Goodhood: Eros/Anteros

The brands partner for a new London pop-up.

While plenty of brands make a pit stop in east London – H&M recently took its contemporary Divided line to Shoreditch, Old Street’s roundabout has been tapped several times, and Whistles menswear is currently occupying New Inn Yard – this weekend sees EC2A staple The Goodhood Store makes a pitch for central.

A collaborative project with Roundel London, the London Underground inspired, youth culture erring label, for just three days (until the 25th), the pair can be found at Piccadilly Circus hiding in the main underground concourse.

Titled ‘Eros/Anteros’ – inspired by the mythological Greek gods, the latter whose statue stands in Piccadilly – the unique offering hopes to explore in its output the relationship between mass consumerism and underground culture.

Physical shop stock will take the form of Roundel’s AW15 collection, Goodhood in-house products plus a capsule collection of specially commissioned pieces, as per the ‘sure to become a collectors item’ tote you see above.
