Make-up artist Lucy Bridge’s attention to detail of her made-up eyebrows and big eyes were instilled from her own mother's beauty routine and regular explorations with her supplies. It triggered off a passion to pursue being a make-up artist and she knew the Big Smoke was calling. Born in the rural grassy & hilly North of England Lucy set her sites on London and made the decision to move down in 2008.
As with a lot of London’s creative transplants, the new surroundings and the city’s vibrant night life & crowd gave Lucy the opportunity to find her unique style. Lucy’s big break however came when she was on the 55 bus, which runs from town through the creative hotbed of Hackney, and was spotted by photographer Tim Walker. She then became subject to a 10 page editorial in i-D magazine resulting her in a raised profile and a plunge into the depth’s of the fashion world.
She has since signed with the prestigious Jed Root agency which has offices in both London & New York and is regularly working with some of the biggest names in the industry. Lucy is also a valued contributor to this magazine aswell as being a regular Beauty Correspondent to the illustrious i-D magazine.
