The first Air Max lifestyle shoe...

Ever innovative, Nike broke new ground in the sneaker arena back in February with the launch of their first fully fledged lifestyle shoe - the Air Max 270. A bold new model that riffs on the current 90s renaissance, by taking it's cues from two archive styles - the Air Max 180, and Nike Air Max 93, with the added punch of dynamic details, that are decidedly 2018.

Whilst previous Air Max designs have been created with the lifestyle bracket in mind, beginning back in 1987 with the Air Safari, the 270's significance comes in it's 100 percent lifestyle approach.

Applying the same riguors of engineering found in sports shoes, to the demands of everyday use, key details include a highly flexible, breathable knit upper, and asymmetrical lacing for a truly secure fit. Most integral however, is the dual-density foam sole, and re-mastered air unit, which contribute to the highest and most cushioning heel incline in Air Max history.

Already en route to iconic status, the 270 has quickly been embraced by everyone from regular fashion customers to full blown sneakerheads, the world over. As well as a good few sports and music stars including CLASH favourite J Hus, who's pictued here in the new Teal colourway, which launches today, both in stores and online at the link below:
