My Town My Tracks: Amsterdam

Onitsuka Tiger's campaign arrives in the Netherlands.

Onitsuka Tiger’s ‘My Town My Tracks’ campaign is back for another season, and this time the brand has adopted Amsterdam.

This latest stopover sees the label head to the De Jordaan district, mirroring the actions of half-Dutch half-Japanese entrepreneur Tosao, as he and his friends welcome the camera to their favourite neighbourhood on foot and – characteristically for the flat city – by bike.

Selfies are snapped, the canal is lovingly looked onto, and typically the gang has a barrel of laughs, all the while clad in the Japanese brand’s latest wares. But don’t just take our word for it…

Onitsuka Tiger is a brand for all seasons,” its head of brand management, Lisa Hogg assesses, “Tosao’s My Town My Tracks through De Jordaan reflects our brand values and belief in individuality and urban culture.”

Described as the season’s hero piece, the Harandia MT is given a starring role in the clip, naturally, while other styles like the Curreo, the X-Caliber and the Shaw Runner Women all feature too.
