LC:M SS14 Mixtape – Day One

Five songs from the catwalk.

It’s not just about the clothes at London Collections: Men. A show’s soundtrack can silence a room, make a crowd chair dance, or run the risk of being overshadowed by shouts of ‘uncross your legs’ from the photo pit. On the DJ’s head does an atmosphere rest.

Here are five tracks that helped Day One go boom:

An instrumental version of 'How Soon Is Now' by The Smiths oversaw Lou Dalton's show (DJ: Horse Meat Disco).

Daniel Canetti and Milly McMahon reworked Wu Tang-Clan's 'C.R.E.A.M.' for Astrid Andersen.

At MAN, new boy Alan Taylor played out 'Losing My Edge' by LCD Soundsystem.

The Hentsch Man presentation in a garage on Langley Street entertained with Chuck Berry's ' Go Johnny Go'.

Our day finished with a mix by William Richard Green for Agi & Sam featuring 'Life Round Here' by James Blake.
