Like any self-respecting pop star they’ve got Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest covered, but now Farah Vintage have gained something only those stars with too much unsold merchandise from the stadium tour normally muster; an ecommerce site.
For a fashion label of course, the selling of clothes from it’s own name website heralds big things, and Farah Vintage is no different.
Previously it had a smart webpage on which fans could browse collections, read up on the heritage and meet the Citizens of Farah – the brand’s ongoing project celebrating individuals for their style and creativity – but now they can buy what they see with the click of a button too.
To celebrate the label’s new easy access, each day this week Clash will be picking an AW13 favourite and writing some words that’ll make you salivate about said item as much as us.
First up, the Brookwood Hooded Windcheater Coat. Did you see the weather at the weekend? Available in three colours, this Farah Vintage number would have been the perfect outer layer to tackle those grey skies and splashes of rain.
A clean design with tidy white buttons and drawstring hood, the coat comes bearing its own badge – a subtle leather ‘F’ pin – and three patch pockets for all your worldy belongings.
