House Of Hackney x Eastpak

The London label joins forces with the luggage heavyweight.

A lengthy affair, Eastpak’s collaborator list this month clocks another, with a House of Hackney hook up set to drop later this week.

Partnering with the east London fashion-cum-interior store on a bold line-up of printed rucksacks (a loose follow up to the collab with Dutch fabric label Vlisco that arrived back in June, being that both occupy a print heavy aesthetic space), the new collection is part of Eastpak’s ‘Inspired by the World of’ series.

Proudly made in England, the contemporary offering includes a two-piece line of limited edition pieces in ‘Palmeral’ and ‘Meymeh’ – think modern interpretations of British style cast in rich velvet – and three mainline bags featuring ‘Hackney Empire’, ‘Inferna’ and ‘Midnight’.

Known for its plant heavy prints – if you were wondering what that shop you passed on Shoreditch High Street was with the plants and prints outside, herein lies your answer – this project sees House of Hackney marry florals, carpet alike prints and monochrome stripes with the former’s classic backpack.
