Do you remember when all the rude boys at school used to keep the 59FIFTY stickers on their New Era caps and at first you thought, ‘we get it, well done’ but later you lost the sarcasm and actually thought, ‘ah, we get it, cool’?
Well in line with their 30th anniversary year, G-Shock have picked up on the prominence of the sticker and used it as a starting point. A most modern muse, if you will.
In their second collaboration with the hat label, G-Shock has lined up a new watch while the former has come up with a branded cap (naturally).
The GA-100 has taken on the black and gold colourway of the 59FIFTY sticker, with a gold face and black plastic strap, while it’s partner in crime is a simple black design with ‘G-SHOCK’ embroidered across the front in gold (again, naturally).
Production is limited with just a small number available on Casio store shelves and online now.
