For the third art showcase at the brand’s east London branch – literally titled East Art Sessions – G-Shock has enlisted the help of design and screen-printing duo DONE London.
Established in 2012, the south east London label’s starting point was T-shirt’s – 20 ‘one offs’ of which will be handed out at a launch this evening – and have since expanded to vinyl sleeves, art prints and stickers; ahead of their G-Shock project they’ve most recently collaborated with Peckham’s ongoing ‘Cons Project’ on Copeland Road.
For East Art Sessions – which sees the watch people collaborating with Urban Nerds – DONE London has produced unique screen prints that will adorn the shop for the next two weeks.
Welcoming said work to the walls, tonight Jackson Blumenthal and Ed-Word of Boogie Nights provide the Truman Brewery shop’s music, as fans gaze at G-Shock’s vast timepiece selection and sip free booze.
There’s just about still time to be there too, simply head to www.g-shock.co.uk/done.
