Fred Perry x Art Comes First

The polo shirt kings are dropping an exciting new collab.

Never ones to shy from a strong collaborative partnership – think Bella Freud, think Raf Simons – the latest drop from Fred Perry sees the brand hooking up with London based design-cum-brand consultancy, Art Comes First.

Tapped for their dedication to fusing style and subculture, designers Sam and Shaka (pictured above, fans will no doubt remember their bold aesthetic from 2014’s Return of the Rudeboy exhibition), have reworked several of the brand’s key pieces for the new collection.

Sharing Fred Perry’s fascination with craftsmanship, the pair’s line-up boasts two shirts in a monochrome palette (each decked out with Laurel Wreath embroidery and an ACF label), while elsewhere the track jacket and classic Harrington have undergone similar subversive treatment, with particular nods to punk.

All four are available now.
