Finchittida Finch: Kindred Carvings

The label's second collection hits Urban Outfitters today.

While the beauty world has Lou and Sam Teasdale and the Kahalani twins (the former part Craft part Bleach, the latter of identical faces and a shared 90s wardrobe), the fashion industry has Tamara and Natasha of Tata Naka, the Olsen twins line The Row, and more recently, the jewellery label Finchittida Finch.

Today based in London, Tida and Lisa’s second collection features accents of their mixed Lao and British heritage; the mosaic patterns are a direct result of a recent trip to South East Asia, while their creation took place in the label’s Peckham studio.

A select few pieces from Kindred Carvings – as the collection is titled – land in Urban Outfitters today, as noted in excited installments across social media throughout the last month.

What it lacks in size, just two pairs of earrings, two necklaces and a bracelet make the cut, the drop more than makes up for in appearance, with pieces produced in the label’s signature Perspex and each perfectly symmetrical (a twin thing? A step too far on our part?).

Think of it as Tatty Devine’s well travelled cousin, materially speaking.
