The label goes all #TBT for Spring Summer.

A full blown Fila revival has been quietly bubbling away below radar for several seasons now, with knit jumpers by the Italian sports label creeping up on Etsy, of all twee by way of kitsch places.

Recognising the collective good vibes with a core ‘Vintage’ tagged collection, SS16 sees the label instil a secondary dose of nostalgia with the introduction of a new ‘Black Line’ offering.

Reclaiming the brand from the Wavey Garms crew and pushing the more prominent details of a back catalogue that takes in the boldness of the 80’s and 90’s, the new line-up, according to its press release, delivers to a generation ‘craving anything and everything from these particular decades’, which is one way to put it, we guess.

Boasting a bright colour palette, soft silhouettes and an XXL typeface – key pieces include the dungarees, bucket hat and miniskirt, ‘cause obvs – the full collection marries contemporary influences with a more traditional all American attitude.
