For their Spring Summer campaign Farah Vintage have coerced former Clash tottie Todd Taylor and Brian Balchin (issues 75 and 79 respectively), into hanging out in some dandy threads near Battersea Power Station. Of course we don’t really believe this is true (the forced bit, not the hanging out bit), but it makes for a good sub plot right?
The collection itself is made up of bright colours, dark colours and pastel shades, across tops, tees, jackets, shorts and trousers. The brand have carried on their 50s Americana theme-noted in the shape of Brian’s pink shirt-but added a hint of the land of the rising sun to proceedings by way of print and texture.
We’re fans of the new range but department store House of Fraser is seriously excited about it. So much so, that customers who find themselves amongst the first 20 to spend over £50 will receive a special goodie bag, with the stores offering this changing weekly (first up are Croydon, Bristol, Plymouth, Cardiff and Hull). Though if popping out to the shops is too much for you, head to their Facebook page and you could win the contents of your new summer wardrobe. At a worth of £500, it’s not to be snuffed at.
