Working In collaboration with custom-build bicycle experts Dolan, Elllesse have just dropped news of their very own racing bike.
The carbon fibre design – which has been made by Japanese suppliers Mitsubishi and Toray, has been created for the Ellesse Mile. A cycling segment in Spain, which on Strava – the social network for athletes, is currently known as the Portman Green Mile.
To compete in the Ellesse Mile, riders must complete the course on the Ellesse x Dolan design, and record their times using the Strava app. A list of fastest times will then be logged throughout the year, with a chance to win a place on the leaderboard.
Carefully researched and engineered over two years, whilst the bike is clearly perfect for competitive racing, we can't help but think what a winner it'd also be for the morning commute. Outstripping even the coolest of fixy enthusiasts in the style stakes, it's matte black and boldly logo'd look is a hands down winner.
