Following recent international takeovers from the likes of Supreme and colette – of New York and Paris, respectively – this week Dr. Martens undergoes a subtle Danish update courtesy of the Copenhagen founded design studio, Norse Projects.
Dropping this Friday exclusively online and in Norse Store (with a full release to follow on the 7th May), the 3-Eye Steed model has been produced in the traditional DM manner, using the ‘original art of industrial manufacture process’, hence retaining the principal elements that make it a classic.
Elsewhere the new look shoe boasts a Repello suede exterior and a custom padded tongue (in ripstop nylon), with nods to a utilitarian endorsed aesthetic. Available in white, black and oxblood, the three piece line-up marries the contemporary with the conventional, while the Scandi credentials do no harm.
