The brand taps BBK member for new release.

Nine months after the brand dropped the initial Chuck Taylor II line-up – a small capsule range with a simple palette of black and white – Converse this week intros a new look for the classic’s 2.0 model.

Tapping Boy Better Know’s Jammer for a loosely defined collaboration, the Chuck II Knit makes its debut in the rapper’s video for new single ‘Wavy House’; as he explains, “Music is an influence on fashion and fashion is an influence on music, so with this video I tried to fuse both of those worlds.”

All soft lighting and pastel shades, the Max Shaw directed clip, above, sees a cameo from the brand’s high top white and blue numbers, while elsewhere orange, black and green complete the line-up, which also accommodates a series of low top styles.

Marrying the iconic silhouette and Chuck II upgrades with a confident textured exterior, the new sneaker gets an international release today, ensuring wavy vibes for all.
