Clarks Originals Introduce the Trigenic Evo

A bold new step for the Trigenic concept...

Clarks is a British institution that shows no signs of waning. In fact, the company which was founded in Somerset back in 1825, by brothers James and Cyrus Clark, has taken bold new strides of innovation in recent years, sealing its longevity long into the future.

The brand could have easily rested on its laurels, and continued to produce the same popular styles that have drawn customers to its stores for decades. Iconic models that include Wallabees, and perhaps most famously the Desert Boot. Instead, they’ve maintained and updated these favourites – with most recent examples including Drake’s collaborative new spin on the Desert Boot, via his OVO brand, and also devised a selection of totally new designs that cater to busy contemporary lifestyles. The most stand-out examples being the hybrid looking athleisure models in the Trigenic Collection, which easily suit a broad range of occassions.

The Trigenic range is not only an aesthetic innovation for the company, but also a technical one, where a state of the art approach to design has been grafted onto long-held traditions. Using an asymmetric last hand-carved from a single block of hornbeam, a unique three-part decoupled outsole has been devised, that flexes with the natural movement of the foot. Onto this, a Vibram outsole delivers optimum stability and durability.

New for Autumn/Winter ’17 the Trigenic Evo has taken all of the central Trigenic components, and essentially upgraded them. While comfort has been improved via a footbed made from a dual density PU material, engineered to support the foot where it needs it most, the genuine moccasin construction is streamlined and given dynamic new lines, that afford the classic Clarks look a futuristic new air.

The Trigenic Evo comes in white, black, cola and grey leather for men’s and black and white for women’s. Shop the full range below:
