Cheap Monday: Snapback Denim

The brand introduces a new concept for 2016.

While it might be too easy to assume all denim label’s have to do to make a mark is rehash a strong jacket shape in a new fade, perhaps with the addition of a different button line-up or a collaborative partner’s name running across the back, it’d be pretty far off the mark.

And the latest offering from Cheap Monday realises this point clearly; for 2016 the Swedish brand introduces Snapback, a new fabric concept providing premium stretch and hold denim.

Boasting the T400 fiber (which probably means more to designers and technologists than the rest of us, admittedly) the fabric, and thus your jeans, has the capability to basically do what it says on the tin – stretch out and snap back – without losing any of the desired shape. Pretty smart, huh.

A small capsule collection initiates the cloth, comprised of the Mid Snap, High Snap and Flare Snap, aka the mid rise skinny, high rise skinny and super flare shape respectively.
