Two jumpers and two T-shirts, these be the pieces behind Billionaire Boys Club’s 10th anniversary collection.
Founded by Pharrell Williams and A Bathing Ape designer Nigo in 2003, the label bagged a name check by its founder in The Neptunes' ‘Hot Damn’ that same year.
Legal issues with Reebok followed before the boys went it alone, and the brand as we know it today was born in 2005.
The label even hooked up with Clash this month, with a pull out poster and Pharrell Q&A for our Pop issue, (read a snippet here).
The capsule collection – designed by Nigo before he jumped ship for Uniqlo – sees the designer collaborate with Sk8thing, a regular BBC team player throughout the brand’s decade long existence.
Metallic Billionaire Boys Club motifs – the classic and an exclusive decade logo – adorn the front of each jumper, while the two collage tees loosely reference Raf Simons’ Spring Summer 03 collection (being monochrome and bearing scattered logos).
