Acne Studios Relaunches Its Denim Line

Introducing ‘Blå Konst’…

Swedish fashion label Acne Studios are re-exploring their roots. Founded in Stockholm back in 1996, the company first found success with the creation of 100 pairs of raw denim jeans that were gifted to friends and family. With distinctive red stitching, they quickly caught the eyes of editors at the likes of Wallpaper magazine, and Vogue Paris, gradually spawning a full fashion line and global success story.

In what seems like something of an homage to these beginnings, the brand have just announced a new permanent range focused solely on denim, that will run in parallel to their seasonal fashion collections. Titled ‘Blå Konst’ which translates as ‘blue art’, it will fully replace all existing Acne Studios denim as of April 6th.

Marking this renewed focus, six new styles of jeans; one baggy, straight and skinny for both men and women, have been created from scratch, with new details specific to the line. A range of new denim shorts, skirts and jackets will also be available. This considered selection will likely tempt many shoppers to snap up the lot. Those that are especially keen will also be pleased to find Acne have officially Ok’d the double denim look in their dedicated Blå Konst campaign.
