De La Soul first appeared as 'daisy age' rappers, part of the Native Tongues movement, and secured their status with the classic '3 Feet High and Rising' album.
They continue to release albums, the most recent being 2004's 'The Grind Date', and recently supplied the rap for Gorillaz's 'Feel Good Inc' hit, scored 5 Grammy nominations.
