As head honcho with Talking Heads, David Byrne was amongst the pioneers of New York punk. With their art rock sound, Talking Heads proved to be enormously influential with their tour film "Stop Making Sense" becoming an all-time classic of the genre. Now a solo performer, Byrne is still making incredible music. Interesting fact: he was born in Scotland.
