Seattle singer-songwriter of great acclaim

Hailing from Washington State, Damien Jurado is an inventive singer-songwriter with a great many admirers, an artist whose credibility and talents almost precede him. He's previously experimented with found-sound recordings, as well as writing more 'typical' acoustic songs. Formerly signed to Sub Pop, he's released four albums for the Secretly Canadian label: 'Where Shall You Take Me?' (2003), 'On My Way To Absence' (2005), 'And Now That I'm In Your Shadow' (2006), and 'Caught In The Trees' (2008).
