Kings Of Leon are set to headline next summer's instalment of Belgian festival Rock Werchter.
One of the biggest guitar groups on the planet, Kings Of Leon ended 2011 with a flourish. Playing a series of enormous outdoor shows, the Followills came closer than ever to becoming household names in their native United States.
Fatigue and tour ennui may have shown towards the end, though, with the band deciding to take a short break. Currently reconvening in the studio for what would be their sixth studio album, Kings Of Leon have now decided to break cover.
The band have confirmed plans for a headline set at next summer's Rock Werchter festival. The Belgian event is wasting no time in pulling in some big names, with Kings of Leon set to headline the main stage on July 5th.
Already scheduled to take part in next summer's festival are the likes of Blur, returning Basildon synth gods Depeche Mode, Editors, American punk types Green Day and German metal mavericks Rammstein. Expect more names in the run up to the event.
Tickets for Rock Werchter 2013 are on sale now.
